The guest rooms are particularly spacious, and have recently been renovated. All forty-one rooms are en-suite with shower and pleasant views of the gardens. Standard throughout all rooms is air conditioning, telephone and DSTV, razor plug, hair-dryer, bathroom amenities and in-room tea and coffee-making facilities.
The hotel has a new 80 seat conference room, ‘Mudi’. There is a smaller conference room, ‘Mpingwe’ for guests who need to hold business meetings or workshops. This room can also be used as a private board room or class room.
Our cozy restaurant offers the traditional Shire Highlands breakfast. The Naperi Restaurant offers distinctive Malawian Cuisines for lunches and dinners.
When work is done there are plenty of attractions for the weary businessman. The Limbe country club is within easy reach. It offers one of the most beautiful golf courses in Africa. Even to walk around it without the benefit of a round of golf is a pleasure.
The hotel has 2 bars – Kalibu Bar; known locally as the ‘long bar’ and Livingstone Bar – to unwind with a drink while watching televised sporting events. The Kalibu Bar is known for twenty meters of solid dark African oak constructed by local villagers using traditional tools and their bare hands.
